Why You Need The Burr Coffee GRinder
I'm one of those people who simply can't function in the morning until I've had at least one cup of coffee. Because of this, it's absolutely essential that I be able to brew my own java at home. But I can't stomach any of the instant varieties out there, and would much prefer to enjoy some of the exotic blends that the gourmet shops are famous for. Everyone knows that in order to get the most flavor and richness out of the beans, it's best to grind them up on your own -- the closer to brewing time, the better. That's why I'm glad I have a burr coffee grinder at home.
A burr coffee grinder is superior to the bladed kind in a number of important ways. For one thing, a burr coffee grinder has the ability to produce a variety of grinds, from coarse to very fine. This is ideal for me because it gives me greater flexibility in my brewing method. If I want to use a percolator, I leave the setting at coarse. For a drip machine, I change it to a medium grind. Plus, I can easily indulge in a cup of espresso every now and again without having to go to any extra effort. I simply set my burr coffee grinder to the finest setting and leave it at that.
Another convenient feature of my burr coffee grinder is the way that it can grind as little or as much as I need. If I'm just going to have one or two cups of joe before heading out to work, then I grind up a couple of tablespoons and I'm set. If I'm going to be up all night working on a project or if I'm having a bunch of people over, then I grind up a whole lot more.
Finally, a burr coffee grinder allows me to have the freshest, most flavorful brew possible. A burr coffee grinder produces less friction when grinding than a blade machine would. As a result, it protects the richness of the beans and I can definitely taste the difference in each and every cup.
If you don't own a burr coffee grinder, you're really missing out on a lot! These amazing appliances are surprisingly affordable, so there's no reason you should suffer with sub par brews any longer. Check out a couple of different models today and you could soon be enjoying the unequalled taste of gourmet coffee in the comfort of your own home.
